RWCI is pleased to announce that we now offer our residents the opportunity to participate in Triple P – one of the most effective evidenced-based parenting programs in the world, backed by more than 30 years of ongoing research. Triple P gives parents simple and practical strategies to help them manage their children’s behavior, prevent problems developing, and build strong and healthy relationships with their children.
Several community volunteers have offered their time and services to RWCI, completing a rigorous multi-day training and certification process and committing a certain number of hours per week to lead the program for our residents. Triple P aims to prevent problems in the family, school, and community before they arise and to create family environments that encourage children to realize their potential. Triple P is currently used in 25 countries and has been shown to work across cultures, socio-economic groups, and in all kinds of family structures. We look forward to seeing the positive effects of the program here at the Renaissance.
