Technological proficiency is increasingly critical for children to succeed in school and in life. Almost all homework assignments now require or assume that children have access to and know how to use a computer and the internet. That’s why RWCI has partnered with the Stratford-Richardson YMCA to host the “Tech Stars” summer camp program at The Renaissance. On weekday afternoons for several weeks this summer, YMCA Tech Stars campers (ages 5-13) and their counselors will ride a shuttle (less than 5 minutes) to The Renaissance to use our brand new computer lab, laptops, and projector. By participating in this program, campers will gain valuable knowledge including basic computer operations and coding skills.
